Overview
tyson ayers & The Sound Cave Roadshow create otherworldly sound experiences for people to immerse themselves in. Performing on one-of-a-kind invented instruments with their own tuning system, sounds can range from mbira-esque dance music to symphonic classical music to experimental soundscapes. Most recently their focus has been creating meditation sound healing baths that help audience members dive deep into their inner worlds guided with binaural beats produced by a spiral of golden ratio musical intervals based upon the Earth’s fundamental frequency.
Meditation Sound Healing Baths
These performances create an immersive and interactive meditation sound healing bath using a custom made set of tuning forks based on the Earth’s fundamental frequency and its overtones ran through a looper pedal. Through layering musical intervals successively formed by the proportions of the Fibonacci sequence (golden ratio numbers), we create an inner spiral of sound that produces specific binaural beats which amplify targeted brain waves in each person listening, helping produce states of mind akin to powerful meditation, psychedelic experiences, and deep spiritual connection. On top of this base layer of sound we perform on a Sound Harp, a one-of-a-kind musical instrument with 225+ strings, as some of our performers move through the crowd and apply tuning forks on acupuncture points to all audience members who want them.
Workshops
Bio-Hacking Your Brain with Binaural Beats: The Golden Ratio’s Inner Spiral of Sound
Would you like to be bathed by the earth’s fundamental frequency transformed by the fibonacci series into a musical scale that bio-hacks your brain? What if you could use it to help fall asleep at night, or to access psychedelic states without the use of drugs? Sound Cave Project creator tyson ayers who discovered this phenomenon will teach how it works and perform a live sound healing bath for you to experience it fully.
Music of the Spheres: Astronomical Tunings for Healing and Transformation
For millennia philosophers, alchemists and mathematicians have sought to discover the Music of the Spheres, a form of music played by the celestial bodies — the moon, sun and planets — moving through the heavens. In 1978 a Swiss mathematician named Hans Cousto discovered a way of deriving musical notes tuned to the orbits of the planets. These unique and profound tones have since been utilized in tonal acupuncture, meditation, sound healing and many other applications. In this workshop you will hear tones from each of the planets, learn how they’re calculated, and how to use them for your own healing and personal transformation. No musical experience necessary.
